Zoomobile
We had a very exciting visit from the Taronga Zoomobile today, organised by Sally Duncan from the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre.
Kerry, a Zoo Educator/Keeper from Taronga Zoo, talked about native Australian animals, their habitats and conservation. Children were able to touch and look closely at these animals.
We were privilaged to have Uncle Col Hardy with us, an Aborignal elder who is the recipient of an OBE and has also won a Golden Guitar. Uncle Col told Dreamtime stories, explained some Aborginal artefacts and sang some wonderful Dreamtime songs. Our students got involved in singing and dancing.
The students loved the visit.

Bullying - No Way
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence is an important day to mark Australian school communities standing together against bullying and violence.
This Friday St Mary's came together to say "Bullying. No Way".
It was fantastic to see the whole school dress in orange to support this event.
