Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome to Week 5. It is hard to believe we’re almost halfway through the term. The much-anticipated warmer weather will be upon us soon!!

Yesterday, we were excited to welcome a new student to St Mary’s. Bobby Davidson has joined our Year 2 class, and we are very happy to have Bobby and his family as part of our school community. We hope Bobby enjoys his time at our school and we wish him all the best as he settles in.

Last Wednesday we celebrated the feast day of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Mass was a lovely celebration, and we thank Father Hilary for leading us in this important feast. A massive congratulations must go to all our students for their engagement in the Mass and particularly their beautiful singing.

Another reminder about parking in front of the school on England Street. This is a no stopping zone between 8am and 4pm. I appreciate there is a lack of parking due to the work being conducted on court street and it is a quiet street, however, it is against the law. Your co-operation and understanding is appreciated.

Last week you were informed that we have decided to separate the end of year awards and our end of year whole school performance. The end of year awards will be held at the Services and Citizens Club at 1pm on Thursday the 4^th of December (Week 8).
